OOTP 9 Mac installer hangs

I have a macbook pro with the latest leopard install and I am running it hooked up as a desktop with a 25 inch monitor running at it HD resolution.

I downloaded the zip file and it created a install directory with a data directory and a OOTP 9 Mac Installer file.

The zip file was 187 mb in size.

Doubleclicking it launches the app I get the spinning disk for a few seconds and then it stops responding.

I haven't purchased a license yet because I have run into a few software programs that are supposed to work on macs where they work on one of my macs but not the other.

I will try it on the 20 inch mac but I really wanted it on the macbook pro.

Any help would be appreciated as I have had ootp 6 and ootp 9 looks like it has a lot of the features I missed in ootp6.

Could you try deleting the files that you downloaded and re-downloading a fresh copy of the game, please?
