Cannot move position of players in play screen

Mouse does not turn to a hand symbol, and moving of players is intermittent with no reason that I have been able to determine as to why it sometimes works, and other times doesn't.

have you targetted various places on the player box? meaning is there any place you can confirm on the graphic that will always be grabbed?

Yes, I have tried to grab all portions of the graphic. In all cases I can get it where the name greys out, I move it to the position I want and let the mouse go. It either works or it doesn't. If it doesn't it does not work it is for the entire game.

Sometimes finishing the game and starting another game I am then able to then be able to move in the graphic in the next game, and sometimes I need to close OOTP and restart the game to get it to work. Though the only thing that I have noticed that seems to help the most is the restart of the game.

How much RAM do you have? How many leagues and teams are in your saved game and how much history does it have?
