Not that I know anything. I was just curious. I did a Google search of that exception code and the results had Vista in the majority; appears to be a divide by zero error. A good share of the few I read blamed it on SP1 (is that a Service Pack similar to the one used by XP?). A few more were printer related and specific program related.
In any event, if you haven't done so, and not that it is sure to provide anything other than a little insight into the error code, it might be interesting for you to check out. I won't stop digging, even though I don't use Vista, and I'm relatively certain it sounds as if you've already taken the usual steps to check things out. I'd wager you'll soon be asked to upload your league file for a look-see on the other end. I hope you/we can get you past this hurdle. Working on a couple small ones of my own.

There is one other thing that I have only seen happen running OOTP. The game pauses (lots of 'not responding') and the game seems to disappear from the monitor for a second or so occasionally.

I have used both XP and Vista and I can tell you that I have switched back to XP just because of what you are experiencing, especially after SP1. Not sa
ying that your problem is a Vista problem but it doesn't help, in my opinion. The fact that you get these stop and goes or burps as I like to call them makes me believe that you have lost one of your important dll files or have had it changed. When you add programs to your computer you are always subject to these things happening. Some programs will put their own version of a dll file in which may be older than the one the sim has put it which could cause these problems. Some newly added programs end up deleting a necessary file from the Windows menu period. The only answer to those event happening is by doing a new setup, for then the correct file, whether it be a dll file or an ocx file, will be back on your computer. I realize this is mostly technical stuff but trust me, these things happen all of the time, and the nature of Vista causes this to happen even more. Anyway, glad you got to working.....and it wasn't voodoo, you did the right thing, so good for you. Sometimes one just has to go in and use common sense to fix things. Most people are afraid to do anything like that but you aren't going to learn unless you jump in and do it. Making the wrong decision will not kill your computer. You may have to put the OS back in again but hey, you learned something and won't make that same mistake again... ![]() ![]()

Thanks to Markuses help, I finally got OOTP 2009 to work again. The culprit was that piece of **** McAfee which I hate for several reasons. Anti Virus disabled and a complete uninstall/reinstall and the problem was solved.

As the OP has got the program working properly, this thread will be moved to closed. If you experience any similar problem, post a link to this thread and we'll reopen it for you.
