Move Good For This Board?

How would you guys feel about this board being made a sub-forum of the online leagues board? I've always felt that it would be better there as: 1) it would be more obvious that it is for online leagues, and 2) if you check the online leagues board you'll be constantly reminded of the commish board and see at least the top thread. Is it really somehow better being on the index page? I believe a lot of the info in here is very valuable and that it would get more views over there.

A move might be best. After all, the subject here falls under the blanket heading of "Online Leagues"

Yes, a move probably would be in order. I know I check this forum every time I visit, but overall it doesn't seem to get much traffic. Perhaps that's because it's buried down near the bottom of the forum listing. The online league forum gets a lot of views, so moving us over there could help generate traffic.

As a side benefit, it might be nice for interested owners to see which commissioners are active here. It might give them more confidence to apply for a league when they see the commissioner of that league is an active participant in this forum's discussions.

Regardless of practical implications, in theory I'd say that this board falls under the "Online Leagues" blanket.

Plus, it seems like it belongs there. It's like an orphan out in the open where it is now.

I voted that I don't care... that's not entirely accurate. I pretty much never go into the online leagues forum. I come in here all the time. I think it certainly falls into the category of online leagues, but am not too excited about having to click on that forum first to get here. So it's not that I don't care, it's that I see both sides. If I had to pick, I'd say leave it.

KQ, is there some way to sneak a link to this board onto the main forum menu, like in the description of the Online Leagues subforum? Use html in the text and put something like

OOTP 9 - Online Leagues
Want to create or join an OOTP 9 online league? This is the right forum for you. (Includes the Commissioner's Corner.)

that way, people wouldn't have to click twice.

This reminds me of something though. The Commissioner's corner includes many topics on Commishing in general, and aren't specific to any one version of the game. I suppose that, due to the organization of this board, the Commissioner's Corner always has to be categorized under one version of the game or another.

I think a move would be good. I always forget to scroll down past the online leagues forum.
