Roster Problem
I've just recently started a historical league starting in 1995 and ive taken over the braves, a few games into the league im stuck on april 11th and anytime i try to advance time a message pops up saying pittsburgh has an illeagal number of players on the active roster (1). I've looked and theres only 25 people on pittsburghs active roster and i tried taking control of the pirates and demoting someone so theres only 24 people but the message still pops up. Any ideas on how to get past this?

confused but have one idea to try
If that message is coming up it's supposed to be that the team has only that many players. Even if all players were the same position they would just play out of position to cover the field. When you tried taking over the team did you try setting the position yourself also. To make sure the players are definitely being seen you could turn on Commissioner Mode and go through the entire active roster of the Pittsburgh team and click on each player, click Editor then make sure that the League is set to National, Team is Pittsburgh by changing the League to National, Team to Pittsburgh. If that doesn't work I'm lost.

One thing to check, because it has happened to others:
If you have a full set of minor league teams (all levels) there is a good chance that there is also a minor league team located in Pittsburgh. Is that possibly the case? If so, that is likely where the problem is. |
