Question about Starting an Online League
I'm trying to convince a couple of my friends to purchase OOTP-X because it is a fun game. They are baseball fans and know quite a bit about baseball (unlike me, who is new to the game).
The idea would be to create our own smallish "online" league which would be a little more interesting for us as a group. Question: Can anyone start an "online" league? |

I have an online league of just 12 teams that has been great fun and very successful, so a smaller league is fully possible.

I don't know how an FTP server works. I guess I'll need to look into that. |

"Using an FTP server" means having a webhost, and putting files online. It's not complicated, and you don't have to maintain the server yourself. It involves the Commissioner uploading a file onto the internet, and the owners downloading that same file, after every sim.
Alan T meant "using webhosting" when he said "using an FTP server." |
