Managers with no experience

I decided to hire a guy with "unknown" in all his stats (managing players, rookies, teach fielding, etc..) for one of my minor league teams as a manager. After 3 years (and winning records for all three, including one championship) he is still listed as "unknown" my question is will the attributes for this manager ever improve, or does it take a while, the more experience he gets?

Good question. I would like to know this, too.
It seems to me that after three years, a time period which approximates the duration of your typical minor-league contract, you should have found out something about the manager's abilities. So if the manager's abilities haven't been unmasked after two or three years, perhaps they should be.

Supposedly managers and coaches can improve over time. I don't know how much experience is required though.
