Doing a reinstall

Hi,

This is going to be a severe noob question but I really don't want to mess this up. I've been playing OOTPX for 5-6 months error free. Suddenly I get a World.dat file is corrupt or missing. I suspect it happened when I created and then deleted a historical league. Anyway, because my computer is 9 years old and built from about 4 different ones I had laying around...and I'm completely ignorant when it comes to software and file manipulation..I'd like to just uninstall and then reinstall and start over.

What I'm afraid of is running into a licensing issue.. I don't even remember how I did it originally. How does one uninstall and then reinstall without getting all knotted up with a license issue?

Sorry for the simplistic question..but I plan on buying a new computer and buying OOTP 11 in the not to distant future and really need this game to work in the mean time. I will go insane if I mess this up and can't play it for any amount of time.

Well I did it and it was so easy I'm ashamed that I even started this thread. Had to do a little digging to find a new download for OOTPX...and still have a little problem with left over folders from the previous install I need to find and delete. But back in business and this thread can be deleted..
