Trying to Set Up Fictional Game

I have set up a fictional game in the state of Florida. Each team is in a Florida city. I have simmed like 40 years to do testing and such. I have found that the financials are off.

So I was wondering if there is a cheat sheet or something to help get the financials as good as possible before I truly start this game.

Ok, it may not be off. But like one year a team will make 20 million and then the next they will lose 200,000 dollars. Is this normal? It's hard to explain without sending someone the league file to look at.
