Closer as a Role instead of Position

As the title says I would like to eliminate the closer position and just have SPs and RPs. It would be nice if I could make this change in an existing SP league. Is that possible, and if so how?

Hi,

I think there are way too many Closers, I have had 5 guys in my bull pen all clamoring to be my CL.

Problem is, in real MLB there are some MRs who don't have the stones to close, so I am torn.

I would like to see marginal closers revert to MRs, or only the top one or two relivers on a roster listed as closers, the rest revert to MRs. It is annoying to have a marginal MR, 6th or 7th guy in my pen, demanding to replace my stud closer.

As to how to do it, sorry I cant' help.

I don't know if this helps but you can set a players position as SP, MR, CL if you want. You can also do this for fielders.
