What's the best way to setup my league the way I want it?

I want to set up a historical league with the base year of 1987. Not only do I want historically accurate MLB teams but I want accurate minors all the way down to Rookie league teams(with the real full rosters from that year.) Can this be achieved with the game as is or will I need to download the Gambo database?

On top of this I want to set up HS and College feeder leagues. I want the historical rookies to appear for their teams as they actually did in real life.

What would be the best way to achieve what I want to as far as my setup? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I can't answer all your questions but I can tell you that the historical seasons that come with the game do not have the full minor league rosters. They would be fictiional players if you had full minor leagues. The Gambo database I am using comes with some players that did not appear
in a major league game. Hope that helps some.

thx for responding. last version i had was 9. guess i was hoping that there was a full historical roster set for the minors somewhere.
