Player/team/league data format and research

Hi,

I have a question for developers.. Is the format used for game (player/team/league) data known? Could it be made public?

Motivation:
Through FHM Twitter account I found out that 10 leagues should be playable by default. I guess it's not more of them because of lack of data about the other leagues. I would like to contribute by researching those leagues either by helping to create some sort of plugin/addon or by helping to get those data directly to the game.
If I'd know the format used for storing/importing such data I could start with the research and the others would hopefully join. At least if it's easy to create such files e.g. in case that defined text format file can be used to import the data. Or if there exists a tool for editing the database and creating "patches" for it.

From what I recall reading from an answer Sebastian gave, is that they plan to make everything customizable from adding leagues, teams, players, etc so that they community can help. One of the issues was the hard coded stuff from EHM; you couldn't add a team or do something like the KHL. In FHM, things are going to be far easier and it'll be added.

Right now, we aren't too sure. Only they (and the beta testers know) but I think its an XML file (from a previously answered question as well).

Yes that is what bothers me on EHM and yes that is what I remember reading too :-)

That's what I am interested in. If the format would be made public the community could start creating "addons" right now (similarly to the logo pack effort) and would not have to wait until the game is released. If the format is not completely determined yet it's not very good idea though.

BTW, my question could also include facepack data format. Is it known? I mean picture format and size, mugshot/action etc. The motivation is the same... the community could start gathering the photos.

I asked this question in another thread and I was told (by archibalduk) that I should wait. If it's still the situation I will wait :-) I just want to know what is the development of this. Thanks!

The situation is still very much the same.

I'm in the midst of exams at the moment and have been devoting my limited spare time to research and beta test. However, I hope to find time in the next week or so to review what leagues we have and whether any leagues are missing.
