Manual / Read-me

Until such time as it can be linked directly from within the TBCB2.5 game, please refer to the link below which contains a manual from version 2.0 in pdf format (much of which is relevant to version 2.5) and an on-line series of explanations and screenshots pertaining to features that are new to version 2.5

2.5 Manual / Read-me

Manual for 2.5

I just bought v2.5 last night and was a bit stumped. I bozo'd around the game a bit and ran a fight card (Bob Fitzsimmons won on a decision against Marvin Hagler... go Bob!). Obviously there are a lot of options available, but without guidance I felt lost. The v2 manual will be a big help.

I have none of the other computer fight games, but racked up thousands of hours with the board game Title Bout. Great game. It came out during what I consider to be a golden age for boxing in most weight categories (except heavyweight). Can't wait to dive in! Again, thanks for posting the v2 manual.

One thing about the old boxing card and dice games, you could pull it out after 20 years and it still works. No revamped operating system to worry about, provided your hands and brain still function normally.

And you could fine tune any matchup to meet your own analysis. More than once we made a power hooker (say a 10 HP) land a 4 point punch, instead of a 5 and killer instinct, if it was the right hand and not his left. We left in the odd right hand knockdown. Worked great!
