Need help figuring this financial situation out...
Decided to start out in the ECHL, and takeover the Reading Royals, since I live only about 45 minutes away from Reading.
Anyway, my payroll is below the salary floor by $10,500, and the problem I have is, I only have $4,500 available to sign free agents? I'm at the start of the season, and hoping there is a solution to this, or do I have to start another new game? |

The problem is the game does not currently count the salary for players sent down from the parent clubs. They should all count a standard $13,125 against the cap not $0. For a work around, you can send some of the the players contracted to the parent club to the reserve and call up some contracted to your team.

But yeah, I need to talk to the guys about making cap hit for loaned players equal to the league's minimum salary. The way minor league affiliations in general are handled needs to be modeled in a little more detail, especially the minimum and maximum number of players that can be loaned in a particular relationship. |
