HUGE Online League Problem/Possible Exploit

Either this is a new feature for online leagues in '15, or I'm pretty sure that non-commishes aren't supposed to be having this editor tab in player profiles? This is grounds for some huge exploits, and our online league needs to know what we need to do in order to remove this tab for non-commish GMs.

Thank you.

(Our commish maintains that there isn't a checkbox for this sort of stuff, so did we do something wrong in our '14 to '15 conversion?)

Each manager has a checkbox that will allow them commissioner permissions.
Have your commish check each managers "Profile". He will have to do it in the "Edit Manager" screen.

I do not know of one check box that will set every manager as a commissioner but if something went wrong in the upgrade file transfer that may explain it.

Good luck,
Tom

I made a post in the 'bug thread' about this issue on 4/20 and Markus responded...his post is HERE

He says any changes to things like height, weight, handedness, etc here made by a non-commish GM are not included in team exports so editing them will not change them in the commissioner's copy of the game.

Personally I see no point of having this editor tab available to non-commish GMs but as long as it doesn't allow GMs to change this info it really shouldn't be a huge issue.

The pictures drop down was moved to the edit tab and wouldn't be available to non-commishes anymore if they weren't allowed access to this tab. For example, a GM could generate baseball cards and team pictures from here. So maybe this is one reason for this tab being available?

That and I think this may be the only place to edit player numbers now also.

That said the height, weight, handedness, player name, nickname fields, etc. shouldn't be editable. Now granted Markus says those edits won't be included in the team exports so they shouldn't cause a problem (I haven't tested that yet but hope to today) but it seems inelegantly designed that there just isn't a screen or drop-down where you can do the picture functions and number change without all the other stuff appearing to be editable, like there was in v14.

I have just tested editing things on the 'Editor' page as a non-commissioner GM and exporting. Then on another machine (the commissioner machine) loading the export. The only edit that was applied was the change of uniform number as Markus has said.

It would still be cleaner to be able to change uniform numbers and generate baseball cards as you can in v14 but this 'Editor Tab' does NOT appear to pose an issue for Online Leagues.
