Putting this on the bug thread, too, but has anyone seen stories come in waves like this? I came out of a 20 year sim to this on the league home page:

I saw Derek Jeter retire to run for a Senate seat after 2014 in my game, but he was the only one I've seen so far. I don't think I've ever seen that many storyline incidents on the same day. I'm not sure how frequent that storyline occurs, but it could just be a freak coincidence that the dice rolled it for three different players in the same year.

I wonder what state Dittelsheim-Hessloch is in?

Yeah, not sure I would call that a bug so much as a storyline that's not been thought through for every possibility. These were news items for a US league, and each of these players spent at least part of 1 season in that league. Turns out, though, that these three were all foreign born and played most of their careers in foreign leagues.

And to be fair, you don't have to be born in the US to run for Congress at all. But it does seem funny to have your campaign headquarters in a foreign city...
