Shortlist Question

I believe I know the answer to this question already, but I'll ask anyway. I love shortlists and use them quite often. Is there a way to highlight players that you have already shortlisted? Sometimes I shortlist players for different reasons. It would be nice to color code these guys based on my own criteria. I have played many versions of OOTP and I don't think you can, but I'm also smart enough to know that there may be an option right in front of my nose that I have been missing. Anyway, if it isn't an option currently, I think it would be a really cool addition to the game.

It's not an option, yet, but many have been asking for this or multiple shortlists. If we could add colour coding then I'd like the list to be sortable through filters. Multiple would be nice because you could have one for prospects, draft, players you just like to follow, etc etc.

An unrelated method of tracking shortlisted players categorically is to create a note for each one. It's not sortable in the shortlist screen, which probably adds too many mouseclicks, but it's a "band-aid" method.

1. Go to your shortlist
2. For each player on the list, click his name
3. From available actions, click create note
4. In the note field, enter the category you'd want the shortlist to contain like "prospect" or "veteran". You can also enter whatever text in the text field you wish regarding the guy
5. The note is automatically saved and updated

Now you'll have a list of created notes for each player that are, by themselves, sortable, since the create note system saves the player name automatically. This is also useful to give yourself a reminder to attempt a trade, promote a player in your system, or set a general reminder to review a shortlisted player periodically. Again, it's outside the shortlist screen, but for now, it might be your best option.
