Ping: Bobble--Eye Glasses

I was wondering if eye-glasses would work the same way as beards. What I mean is if I had a beard type called eye-glasses would this work? If so, then how would a person with eye glasses also have a beard? Would I have to copy all of your beard models and make a separate set with eye glasses?

Has anyone else done this yet? If so, can I borrow a template?

While a glasses add on would be cool, glasses show up a lil bit. Sunglasses don't. The modeller has a glasses add on.

Model - Change Model Parts - Eyeglasses. No clue how to change the shape of the glasses or the color. Let me know if you figure that aprt out.

If you didn't want to do it in an individual player's Facegen model, you could theoretically do it but I'm not sure it's practical. There are a set of graphic files that govern the players hair (the on-top-of-head hair) and there a set of files that govern beards. I'm not sure that the ones that govern beards "reaches" up high enough to get to the eyes but I know the hair ones do. I was toying around with eye black at one point:

HOWEVER, there are only 4 types of hair styles currently. There are no frequencies set for these so OOTP picks randomly from the group. So, if you were to add a 5th type with glasses, then OOTP would pick randomly from the 5 types when drawing a guy and about every 5th guy would end up with glasses. You'd need to make a bunch of duplicates of those sets of files to get a reasonable frequency of guys with glasses.

Thanks. Duplicating files is as simple as CTRL-click, copy, paste. I may have to look into it more. I figured as much that you have already explored the possibility so that why I asked.

Two things:

1. You can copy/paste but then you'll have to renumber the file names so OOTP finds and uses them.

2. Each face distorts the graphic to conform the pic to the shape of the face. So, if you were going to do glasses that were circular, they would come out as a deformed oval on one face and possibly unrecognizeable on the next. There's no way to keep the original shape of the graphic.
