Batters hitting twice in a row

I play out my games pitch-by-pitch. I've seen this bug several times with v.16. It always happens with my batters-- never with the AI-controlled team.

Is anyone else seeing it?

Yes, I saw it for the first time last night. Mookie Betts lead off and hit in to an out, then he lead off again and hit in to another out. I started the second inning with my number three batter.

Have not seen it in this version, but in years past this would occur if I pressed a key(swing away, take, etc) during that split-second after an at-bat is resolved but before the next hitter's information has populated on-screen. It was as if I was interrupting the process of loading the next batter by prematurely requesting an outcome for his at-bat, so the game just went ahead and used the guy it had already grabbed. I think I must have conditioned myself to wait a beat between batters now, because I haven't seen it in a long while.

Just curious: are you a Mac or a Windows machine?

Thank you for sharing this. It's very similar to my experience.

Windows 7. I had a similar experience, I was spamming the space bar to get to the next batter and Mookie Betts batted a second time.

Last night I saw it for the first time. I'm playing as the Tigers. Kinsler's up with one out and a man on first. I send the runner on a 3-2 count. Kinsler swings and misses (strike 3) and the runner is thrown out ending the inning. Next inning Kinsler led off.
I'm using Windows 7.
