Owner "Ratings" & Gameplay

I have an owner who is classified as being "Meddling" and "Balanced"


I'm sure it probably explains this stuff all in the manual, but I'd rather discuss with you guys.


Could someone explain to me what this means and how it will effect my game play, or how it is supposed to effect the gameplay?

Meddling - he's gonna set your scouting and player development budgets, and he's going to be stricter in evaluating your end of season goals.

Balanced - he's happy with big profits or winning, there you have a lot of leeway.

That's just from my experience, so it may not be totally correct. The budget thing is true though, which bothers me.

I can confirm this. For my meddling owner, he controlled the player development budget.

Oh, I don't like that at all....hopefully he catches the "Owner Death" bug soon....

Depending on his "fiscal personality," which isn't new in 16, be careful what you wish for....

A Meddling owner can be bad, but a Penny-Pincher would be worse. Of course, if he is already a penny-pincher, then you definitely want to hope he dies....

he could just, have an "accident" conveniently timed right after you turned on commissioner mode
