Online League Export Error Code 111
I'm currently the commissioner in an online league. There's just one other user in this league. We are in year 3 and have not had any issues tell recently. Lately, I've not been able grab his export file from the server. We have a website for our file transfers. Every part of the process still works fine from me export the league file, him downloading the league file and doing his export. It's just when I 'grab' his team export, I get the below error message:
"Team file has been loaded from the server, but not imported. It is either corrupt, incomplete or has an old file format. The error code is 111." I've tried everything I can think of in hopes of resolving this issue. Apologize if I should post this elsewhere, but I'm trying to see if anyone has any knowledge of what I can try to have this resolved. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

1) Is he on the same patch as you are. Ask him to check his version number on the start screen.
2) I would build him a new league file, with the settings folder in it and have him install it. Can he import from the server? Is he on the correct game date when he exports?

He does have the same version number and game date. I've built him a new league file with settings folder and still getting same error message. He can import from server but I get error when downloading his export.

No sims have been run since the new file was built. I only ask because I have had a number of game date problems. I always make GMs confirm game date when we are having import/export problems..
What message does he get when he exports? Does he have a new anti virus or firewall installed? Have you checked on the server that the files are overwriting his old export? If his CPU is blocking the export you are just importing the same bad file over and over.

I believe my home wifi is blocking his export file. When on different wifi network, I was able to download the export. I've tried disabling the firewall on my computer but not sure what settings to configure on my wireless router.

Since it is only one other player he could email the file to you as an attachment and you could save and load the file.
Have him 'Export Team to file'. The file will be in his 'export_import' folder. He then emails it to you and you save it in the same place he had it in. Then load it from your PC. A bit of an annoyance but you can be running till your wifi is adjusted. edit: I'm not a wifi guy so really can't help with that part of the issue |

I'm going to try this. Hoping it'll work and will be an easy work around. I'm not what is needing fixed regarding firewall/router settings. I'm not a wifi or cpu guy either, but trying to learn all I can now to try to fix.
Thanks! |
