The sorry ***METS*** just ended Zack Greinke's scoreless streak after 45 innings!!

Well, actually it was Joc Pederson and his error on Plawecki's single to center. Pederson and his feet-on-the-desk, show-off manner. Saw that guy the first time this weekend, and I instantly hated him.

May I offer an opinion that the Mets made a great move in acquiring Johnson and Uribe? Mayberry, Jr. as your clean-up hitter was not quite ideal.

Local newspaper has Alderson pursuing Cespedes and Upton, too.

He's been one of the best parts of the team this year.

And it's not necessarily a recommendation if you're the least tasteless artichoke in a pile of artichokes.

Since the break he's been nothing but horrible. Last week they were in St. Louis and finally scored a run in the top 13th. Familia comes in and gives up a home run to Kolten "For Crying Out Loud" Wong.

Everybody knows how to retire Wong. Put him on first semi-intentionally, then pick him off to end the game.
