Question When can a brother get more of control of his Views?

Views, man, they are going to drive me nuts: create Views for my team roster, then I have to re-create them for Free Agents, then re-create them for the draft pool, upgrading versions means more View re-creation.

Has anyone found a way to easily copy these across?

Once you create a view you like, for example your roster, save it.

When you go to the FA page, select it from the drop down.

The problem is they don't appear across all the different types of player screens. So if I create one while viewing my own players in Team<Rosters, and save it, the view is not available in the Free Agents list, for example.

Here is what I mean. I created and saved the View "Batting: vL" in the Free Agents screen, but that same view doesn't appear in my Team Roster or Draft Pool screens. It's a PITA to have to re-create them for each screen. It would be nice if they copied across.

Yeah, it's probably due to the views dealing with different sets of stats in different screens, even though you may select the same stats in each view. So no, you cannot copy from one screen to another, unfortunately.

You can, however, copy views from one installation of OOTB 16 to another by backing up the contents of this folder:

C:\Users\[your name]\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 16\tables

You can even try them in new versions of OOTPB (say, in 17, next) - whether that's successful depends on whatever changes they made in the screens, of course. Better back up your game if you try anything like this.
