Refusing demotion issue

If a player refuses to be demoted but I ask the AI to set up complete organization then the player will be assigned to the AAA team anyway instead of being released.

The AI won't release a player off your MLB roster unless you change the user settings.

You can move the player to a minor league team with the player editor.

Just go to settings and check off "player refuses demotion"

When a player of mine refuses demotion, I try to trade them first and if they aren't worth anything, I just turn their contract into a minor league one and release them.
