Exclamation This is ADDICTING!

Is it bad that when I work overnight I just read forums and think about what moves I am going to make because in 5 seasons so far Ive been to the Playoffs 4 times and haven't won it yet?... haha

This IS addicting.

I spend all day in the office looking at my team's stats, and writh in the agony of nine consecutive losing seasons, and can see the straws of hope, but once I return home to be with my sorry team, it all dissipates into a cloud of pain and tears - again. And yet I can never stop!

Bottom line: OOTP is the gaming equivalent to cutting yourself.

I mean your not the only one captivated and mesmerized by the game that you cant sleep because you haven't decided if you want to trade your struggling superstar lol and etc. Although if I were u i'd keep quiet at night if your in the playoffs because losing by 1 in the ninth inning may wake up the neighbors by your frustrating scream lol. How did you find out about this great game?

Well I used to stay up late at night playing a Franchise in MLB: The Show. I love actually playing but it was hard for me to get realistic stats because id either be leading the league in everything or my team would be terrible based on the settings. I remembered playing Football Mogul 03 or 04 and wondered if there was a simulation baseball game out that was any good. I searched and found OOTP. So i searched on youtube and couldnt find much. Only one guy, StraightOuttaBoston. I watched his videos and wanted to buy it, so I got it the first week of July. for 40 dollars when a week later it was on sale for the All Star Game haha.. Since then I play it everyday! I go to school and work full time and play OOTP lol.. Once in awhile i go back to MLB The Show. Luckily my gf will sit next to me and we will watch a movie.. while I play.. lol.. Im a baseball nerd. A stats nerd...

Yes I meant in real life... and what players are your favorite since you mentioned? Most people always play at least one season on OOTP of their favorite or one of the teams they really like..

well, one of my favorite players is Manny Machado, his combination of power and defense at third is marvelous despite not having more homers than arenado I believe machado has more power. You gotta love Bryce harper but I wont get into to that because well we all know lol. I'm not a huge supporter of Stanton, idk why despite that fact he has put up great numbers this year I feel like his lack of patience will derail him in the future. I love carlos correa. Everytime hes up to bat I pause everything. A nice young pitcher I like is Lance Mculler Jr he has some filthy stuff man. UR turn.

Well Im a Tigers/Blue Jays fan. 1.My family is from Detroit. 2. I grew up with 2 friends(1 a Sox fan, 1 a Yankees)....so just to be funny I played against them on games as the Blue Jays...I grew up watching Atlanta on TBS so you could say them too...*

I loved Josh Donaldson as an A and was ecstatic when the Blue Jays got him, even though they gave up quite a bit. Growing up I loved pitchers like Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, Roy Halladay...now I like watching David Price(Tigers n now Jays haha)...Shelby Miller... but as far as hitters...I grew up a Chipper Jones fan...now im big on Miguel Cabrera and Josh Donaldson..

When I am at work, I go over stats and lineups as I am working just to make time go by faster. Think about new league ideas. OOTP rules my life, unfortunately.
