Finally!

I don't know how many seasons I played with 14, but none of them yielded a world title. Along came 15, more seasons, no titles. Between those two versions I played around 30 seasons or so. Then 16. In my 11th season it finally happened.

Winning used to be easy in OOTB. In prior versions it was no problem to put together a dynasty. Since 14, at least with me anyway, it became much harder. I tried everything with my rosters. I'd always come up short. In the last season before this one we had the best record in baseball which is always the kiss of death. Sure enough we got bounced in the first round. This year we were in second place until August when the offense finally started to come life. We went on a tear going 23-7 for the month to finally more into first place. The race was close down to the end, but won the division by four games.

We knocked off the defending champions in the Wild Card round. We won the next two series 4-3. A few seasons before we blew game 7 of the WS when the bullpen didn't hold the lead. To come so close and lose was awful. This year my starter went the distance in Game 7 and was at the front end of a 1-6-3 double play to end the game.

How satisfying is it to finally win? Enough to write a whole post about it and share my happiness with everyone

Thanks for the cograts.

Now I don't want to move ahead to the next season. I want to savor this for as long as I can.
