Hall of Fame not carrying players over properly?
I've noticed that, despite our league settings, players aren't sticking on the ballot. Barry Bonds, for example, had almost 50% of the vote last season, but doesn't appear on the new ballot. I checked the voting history and noticed that it shows only 10 players -- although we had many more options.
1) Is there a way to get them back on the ballot? 2) If not, is there a way I can figure out why players aren't showing properly so it doesn't happen again? Last edited by Avindian; 10-07-2015 at 12:42 AM. |

Did Bonds hit the 10-year eligibility limit?

The voting history will only list the top 7-10 players, it will not display the entire history of that year.
As for players not showing up on the ballot, they can be dropped for 2 reasons: below the threashold (15% in your case), or based on the "years on ballot". So if Bonds last played in 2007, with a 0 year waiting and 10 years on ballot, he will show up on the 2008-2017 HOF ballots, but if you're in 2018 or later, he will not be on the ballot. |

You're absolutely right, guys. I didn't even think of the 10 year limit. I assumed the game would know that Bonds/Clemens only got on the ballot in 2012, but of course it wouldn't.
Thank you both! |
