Too few players in AA teams
Background: new 1871 season, Commissioner role, AAA and AA, using ghost players.
The problem is that starting in September and continuing through the playoffs (well after minor leagues finish their seasons), I get almost daily messages that one or two AA teams have an illegal number of players, i.e. fewer than nine. I cannot continue until I fix that. So I go to that franchise's rosters and one-by-one move AAA players to AA to reach a roster of nine or more -- that works for the day, but the AI then moves players back so that AAA teams have 25 players, even if that leaves the AA team with zero to eight players. I would auto "fill" the rosters except that the only time I did this (with my own team) I got three very good players, not the roster stiffs that I expected. I do not want to artificially give any team 25 players who are better than most of their current players. But my current method is very tedious. Any suggestions, please? |

There is an option somewhere to allow incomplete minors. It essentially fills the minor leagues with league-average "ghost" players so you don't have to micromanage the minor leagues.
Once in a while, you'll see them. If you ever come across "Jim Unknown" in your game, you've seen a ghost. |

Help!
OK, I found that ghost player setting (Game, game settings, league setup, rules). Thank you.
