I am looking for a step by step guide to help me create

a 1871 dynasty and I am kind of a noobie to all of this so I was wondering if any of the great members could help me figure this out by showing me what needs to be done so I get the right players in the right years and also have the right minor leagues come in in the right years I hope we can do that in 16, but I'm not sure any help would be greatly appreciated

Do you want it set up as it happened IRL for the major league part, or as OOTP currently delivers it? As for minor leagues, I think you'll have to wait 'til OOTP17 drops and I think even then they only start up in 1919 or 1920. If you want the major league part as it happened IRL, I would check out BaseballMan's thread in the Historical Simulations forum and PM him for advice on how to do it. Good luck...You're gonna need it.
