Game Quit Unexpectedly

I had had the application open without quitting for about 20 hours, give or take. I was starting a game simulation, and the play-by-play box's text paused, then my mouse became the little rainbow loading circle, and then the game just quit, opening a window saying "OOTP 17 quit unexpectedly."

I'm trying to FTP files but I downloaded the CyberDuck app that the link you sent me to suggests, and I don't know how to do it whatsoever. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
