Has reliever fatigue indicators changed in OOTP17?

I started a save with 2016 majors - quick start- and note reliever fatigue symbols seem different in OOTP 17 than they were in OOPT16. Before the small symbol next to the player's name would indicate how tired the reliever was when highlighted. While the small symbol does appear at times it is not as much as before. Mostly it doesn't show up at all. With OOTP 17 when clicking on the reliever's name now I get a percentage estimate as to his condition. Something like 79% rested etc. Is this the way it is now or is it a settings issue, I use the program's quick start defaults for the relievers, adjusting only the pitch count for the starters? Right now relievers seem to always be available to pitch regardless of recent efforts. I'm only a couple of weeks into the sim so I'm not totally sure if something has changed.
