Positional Rankings All Kindsa' Fouled Up

It's 1988. Boggs has to be among the two or three best 3rd basemen, and Clemens is almost certainly the #1 or #2 starter in all of baseball. What's going on here?!?! Why in the world is Gator Greenwell ranked as our second best overall player, but not even listed as the top lf in the Top Player list? And all of that doesn't even address the fact that Don Mattingly (yeah, I know, right?) is the Boston first baseman.

And, no, none of those stars are injured. They are all healthy and producing!

Let's take it a little further. Ryne Sandberg is a five-star second baseman ranked 24th best second baseman in the league behind such sensations as Manny Lee and Steve Lombardozzi.
