Sound Error, I can't play games!

A few hours ago, I simmed a full game. I logged off my OOTP 17 for a little bit and when I logged back on, a small box popped up on the blue starting screen that said :

88780078: Unknown Sound Error

It had an OK box in lower right corner and the exit red X on top right of box. I have hit both to keep the game loading. The game loads and I can maneuver all the game's screens, but when I go to play a game and hit Start Game, the screen crashes and closes out.

Help! I can't play games anymore!

UPDATE: I HAVE FIGURED OUT PROBLEM MYSELF. NO HELP NEEDED!

Having this same problem on a new computer, Windows 10. Can't find a solution. Help?
