Help me come up with a name for a Canadian-Mexican Association!
I've been trying to come up with a name for my Canadian League vs. Mexican League Association Championship! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated for this!

Copa de MexiCana (my preference, Copa = cup or trophy, Mexican, de = of, French, 2nd official language of Canada) Copa is actually in Spanish, which is the prominent language of Mexico. Last edited by wsenkow; 07-13-2016 at 02:22 AM. |

I'd just call it the CanMex Cup. But I'm boring. I couldn't even find any clever hashtags from the World Cup qualifying match they played earlier this year.
It's difficult because the two countries have very little to do with each other, historically. Mexico's current president, Enrique Peña Nieto, has quipped that their relationship in the pre-NAFTA era was of "mutual benign neglect."

No need for such modesty, you are NOT boring, lol.
I remember many MANY years ago when the current home of the Blue Jays was being built. There was a contest allowing the public in naming it. Eventually it was called the Sky Dome, and it has had a name change once or twice since. What was really funny was that the media caught on to one particular fan's suggestion during the original contest....he thought it should be named HomeTeeDomeTee!! (T being the first letter of Toronto). The thought of it still cracks me up! Last edited by wsenkow; 07-12-2016 at 01:02 PM. |
