Historical/fictional hybrid setup question

I swear I've seen this asked before, but couldn't find it when I searched, so I'll ask it again. I want to set up a historical league starting either in the first season available or 1900 (haven't decided which) and I want to use all fictional players. I know how to release all of the historical players, delete them and fill with fictional players. What I'm not sure how to do is make sure the new players that come into the league each year are fictional and not historical.

FWIW, I basically want everything to mirror MLB history (expansion, financials, stats) but with fictional players rather than real-life players.

Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Uncheck the import historical rookies box.

I had a feeling it was as simple as that, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't a second place I had to do something to make sure fictional players were generated. Thanks for the help!
