Wrong teams to memorial cup

I am playing a file started in 3.0.56 and continued with the commercial release.

For some reason the Calgary Hitmen were sent to the memorial cup as the WHL representative even though they finish 20th in league play and didn't even make the playoffs. It was not because they hosted the cup; it was hosted by the QMJHL this year.

It also sent the wrong team from the OHL; it sent the runners up in the final. It sent the correct teams from the QMJHL.

I've attached screenshots of the playoff bracket for the WHL and OHL and the memorial cup summary.

Yeah, something is definitely wrong with the team selection for the Memorial Cup, we've got an open bug report on it. This at least confirms it's not just affecting user-run teams, though, thanks.

So, after looking back through the previous year. It appears that in the first year of the sim, the teams sent to the Memorial Cup was done correctly.

In the second year of the sim, the league winners from the first year were sent the memorial cup again, along with the correct host team. In my sim, the same team won the QMJHL in both years, so I'm assuming this is the only reason it got the team right in the second memorial cup.

Hope this helps you track down the bug.
