Playoff Roster Eligibility

I run an online league currently on 17.11.73. We have post season roster rules enabled and set to secondary roster (40-man roster).

Multiple teams have players who were on their 40-man rosters on Aug 31st or longer (some multiple seasons) who are not showing a playoff eligible.

I have a prospect who was put on the 40-man 2 winters ago to protect him from the rule 5 draft who is not showing as eligible (he has never played in the majors but I didn't think that was required to be eligible).

Has anyone seen this issue? Anyone have any explanation why some guys on the 40-man as of august 31st would not be PO eligible?

Edit: found at least 1 player added to a 40-man roster on August 31st which should make him PO eligible but he is not.

If you have the option to have playoff rosters based on the 40-man, then yeah, if they're on the 40-man (or on the 60-day DL) they should be eligible.

Is there anything in common with the players who are missing? The guys who aren't listed as being eligible, are they still listed as replacement eligible (ie. does it give you an error if you tried to add them to the playoff roster as a replacement for someone else)? As far as I know we shouldn't have problems, but anything else you can tell could help point to a potential bug if we can find some commonality among the players who aren't listed as being eligible.

Haven't tried to do anything with the players at this point so not sure what errors might/might not occur. I haven't been able to find anything in common as of yet. If you wish I will upload the league files if you would like to take a look.

Edit: Submitted a support ticket, #17552 and uploaded league files 'PO_eligible_player_issue_TMBU.lg.rar'

Loaded it up, really not sure what could have happened. Forced it to rerun the PO eligibility calc and all those guys get marked as eligible as expected.

All I can really say is that you can go in and mark them as eligible if anyone wants to use them. And in the future, make sure teams have a look earlier to make sure people get marked as eligible properly, and if anyone somehow gets "unmarked", then maybe we can have another look to see if somehow in the online league processing those players are getting released+re-added without properly resetting those variables, or something like that.

Fixing them isn't a huge issue as long as people realize they are missing a fringe player.

I wonder if the issue is how they are put on the 40-man roster, ie; drag& drop or right click menu and whether they add them directly to the 40-man or add them to active and let the game automatically add them to the 40. Maybe somewhere the routine that marks them as PO eligible isn't being fired.
