Fan Interest Seems Broken
Good Morning
Fan interest in 17 does not increase at all when trading for or signing new players , regardless of their popularity. Extending a player and getting an interest boost DOES work. Also, the fan interest does decrease when said players leave. Hypothetical example of two teams trading "Extremely Popular" players - both would get fan interest hits and zero corresponding increase from the oncoming player. |

I have noted the same problem. Hoping it's fixed in ootp 18 or sooner as it detracts from the realism factor in the game.

I'm seeing the same thing. No FI boost when signing/trading for players with high national popularity

Not to pile on here but seeing the same thing in our online league. We let a very popular guy walk at the beginning of free agency this off season (getting old and we were rebuilding). Got a message our fans were not happy and our fan interest "almost crashed." Okay, expected, we can deal with it.
Then a few weeks later we trade for a Well Known (locally and nationally) guy.....nothing. And for the record the guy we trade away to acquire this Well Known guy - insignificant Then a few weeks later we sign a FA guy who is Extremely Popular (locally and nationally)......nada, zip, zilch. |
