This may not be a bug,but...no foul balls?

After playing a few hundred games with OOTP17,and now a bunch with OOTP18, I can honestly say that,in all that time, I have not seen any foul outs to the C, and maybe one or two foul outs to an infielder.
Forgive me if I've posted this elsewhere. I do love this game...I mean LOVE it. But compared to APBA BBW 5.75 (my other PC baseball sim I've played for over 20 years), NEVER seeing a foul out with OOTP seems a bit weird (?) to me.
I guess this can't classify as a bug,per se...but it sure as heck is weird.
If any of the devs read this...has this ever been brought up...or noticed...in past iterations of the game during testing?
Again...LOVE the game and the astounding work that has gone into OOTP...so no offense. But...just weird!

All of the foul pops are dropped.

There is a bug report in the database for this issue. Nothing more than that, however.

Yeah, we can fix this to get a few more foul landing locations
