The Game Presents: Dream League

In this newest league i will create 30-32 dream teams, one at a time. I will import historical rookies to a team and try to keep them together for as long as possible and see how many rings i can win. This is a sim only league, except for playoffs, which i will play out.

Draft is enabled since for many of my teams they either have pitching or offense but not always both. i can trade any non real player. i will attempt at re-signing them but if they leave via FA, i can then later trade an AI player for them.

Here are the Team themes:
1. Knuckleballers, Toronto Blue Jays - current
2. 500 HR Club, Colorado Rockies
3. Steroids, Oakland A's.

Well, we are expected to win the AL East, although none of our pitchers are in the top 10. my 1b is in the top 10 or so Hitters.

1b Russ McKeon, 84th

We are expected to be a division winner in the AL East. Our offense will carry us until the rotation gets some innings under their belts. i like my pitching staff for the most part. i should have 3 solid SP in the next few years. i am a bit concerned about the pen though.

I have 2 injured players that should come to the ML roster when healthy.

My Owner is a penny pincher, so that will be a challenge for re-signing my Knuckleballers.
i have 6 FA at the end of the year.

1b Richard Frye will miss an additional week or two.
1b Jim Chittenden agreed to an 8 year extension.

Rp Eddie Fisher will miss the rest of the season. RP Christian Naylor will replace him on the roster.

2020 settings. My defense isnt very good overall. I rank 5th in efficiency and 10th in Zone rating. my C has 17 % TO

3b Josh Cassini had a 22 game hitting streak.
2b Josh Landa is named AL POTW.
I traded 2b Tung Tsao to the Yankees for prospect 3b Art Rochford.I can not re-sign Cassini at this time, so this gives me some insurance for next year.

Going into June we are 30-30 4.5 games back in the AL East.

The offense is carrying us as i predicted but several pitchers are doing well. Bouton, Candiotti, Gamboa & Boone.

Bauer has done great since coming back from injury.

With many of my best players injured i am expecting to be out of the playoff race by the end of the month. My owner will not let me re-sign Bauer or Cassini. I plan on trading away as many upcoming FA i can.
