Colorwerx accuracy? other site suggestions?
Anyone have opinions on how accurate the color codes that are listed on the colorwerx site are? I question it only because I spot checked the Yankees and saw they listed #0C2340 as the navy code while in other places I see #1c2841 as the color. I know, I know. probably indistinguishable by the human eye, but figured I'd at least start with the most "accurate" and universally accepted source if i'm going through the effort to have the most accurate colors.

colorwerx is accurate for the "base colors"....every team uses variations of this base for some reason....likely depending on the back drop or other factors. You will notice the Dodgers have two shades of blue, the Marlins two shades of orange...The astros have two different shades of navy and orange. I have been through them all....but colorwerx has the real base colors.

maybe I'm just a skeptic, but find it hard to believe/accept that multiple teams just happen to have the same exact shade of Midnight Navy Blue??
Red Sox, Indians, Tigers, Angels, Twins, Yankees, Mariners, Cardinals all have the exact same Navy color? suppose it's possible. and maybe I care way too much and being a bit obsessive compulsive about this ![]()
