Association playoff issue

So I've got a big association playoff that encompasses 32 leagues. After all of the leagues do their own playoffs, I'd like to handpick the teams that make the association playoff.

Problem is, the game likes to schedule the association playoff to begin two days after all of the league playoffs were *supposed* to end. This can be an issue when some leagues have games rained out on the last day of the regular season and their whole playoff gets postponed by a day.

When this happens, I can't choose the playoff teams before the game chooses them for me. Any thoughts on a workaround that would either delay the start of the association playoff or force the league playoffs to all start on the same day, regardless of rainouts?
