Minor league team loses all players

I changed the affiliation of the Carolina Mudcats from Atlanta to Milwaukee when they changed in real life. Since then, every other day I get a message that Carolina don't have any players and it's impossible to advance with finish day. However, if I go to Carolina and ask the AI to set up their team, the computer fills the team and everything works again. Until after one or two days when the same thing repeats itself.

I have also tried to fill the entire Carolina League with fictional players, but that didn't work either.

League is Vulkan and uploaded.

edit: I had the same problem with OOTP18.
