Custom game AHL

I'm currently playing a custom game and i'm wondering why the AHL teams can have players under 20 years old. Is it a setting I can change?

It's frustrating playing as the GM of a junior team and when they sign a contract with their NHL team as an 18 year old, they play in the AHL instead of being sent down to junior...

Not possible to change it at the moment, sorry. The NHL/CHL agreement in the modern game had to be specially hardcoded in, and wouldn't work properly in a customizable game. We're going to be making some changes to custom games in FHM5, though, and I'll see if there's a better way of handling the situation than having to send those players to the minor league.
