Mac Audio Not Working?

This may be more on me than the game, but for the longest time I've been playing the game with just the crowd making noise, that's it. I figured that's how it was.

Then I saw someone playing the game on Twitch and no, it's not just the crowd, but there are in fact the ball hitting the bat sounds, etc.

How do I get this? I have game sounds enabled. I'm using the latest patch and I'm on a Mac.

I'll continue to click around the game hoping to find a solution, but please help!

Typically an OS update will fix this sort of issue so that would be the first thing to try.

Thanks for the quick assistance! Quick question before I update...I haven't upgraded to the latest OS, but I recently saw a post by OOTP on here that the latest Mac OS is causing even worse issues than my bat not making sound lol.

I've been postponing the update of the OS due to this warning....thoughts?

You mean High Sierra 10.13?

I think that issue is solved now. If it's not, then turning down the audience detail as that post suggests should solve things. So you can probably go a head and update, worst case you'd just have to turn down the audience settings if that's still an issue.
