Stuck in Playoff Series because of Player needing to come off DL

NEED SUGGESTIONS !!

I am currently in a Fictional League playoff series and I have a RP that needs to come off the DL to advance to the next day.

Every time I try to activate/rehab/demote player it gives me:
"Roster moves are not allowed in the middle of a playoff series!"

I can't advance until he is off the DL, but I'm stuck. I don't want to have to release the player.

I have already tried:
1. Releasing a player on active roster to create room, then moving him over.
2. Looked at Playoff Roster tab, it says my league does not have playoff rosters
3. I do have Secondary and Expanded Rosters both disabled, but tried turning that on and still get the error

if you are in commish mode, you could add another week to injury.
only thing i could think of that you hadn't already tried.
