Minor League Issue concerning coaching staff

I just started a fictional league. Completed the first season, and had to hire new staff for the upcoming season in my minor leagues.

I noticed that when I offered the hitting coach and pitching coach position for my A ball team, that both were willing to accept a 1 year contract for $0. Is this a bug? The manager for the A ball team accepted a 1 year contract for $100. It is currently 1901, I started the league at 1900.

I saw no other issues when filling my AAA and AA staffs, this only occurred on my A ball staff. Also, both the coaches had never been coaches before, so I don't know if this had any affect.

Has anyone else noticed this in their leagues?

They love the game so much they'd coach for free. I'm sure there are plenty of us that have thought the same thing.
