Good luck to them hope they do well. One thing noticed in boxscore is how many big scoring plays via the run. Seems similar to DDCF where a team has 400-500 yds offense, but less than 20 first downs. The game engine or logic generates more big plays than you find in real football.

Very cool. I downloaded the demo and donated $10 to the project. I'm still hankering for a really top notch college football experience (until they manage to get the PS3 emulator and NCAA 14 working for PCs), so anything to help the cause

I just want to bump this up to the top. I downloaded one of the recent updates from this team just this morning, and they are making INCREDIBLE strides in such a short amount of time, and with what I believe are only two people developing the game.

I highly recommend downloading their recent update and throwing them $5 if you're yearning for a college sim.

I’ll take a look at this game as well. We really need a good solid entry into college football.

I would not recommend anyone pay any money for this game in the current state it's in. Constantly crashes, extremely limited features. You can't even load your saved game at all (it just takes you to Akron's team page and leaves you stuck there without being able to do anything, forcing you to start over). About the only good thing I can really say about this game is the UI, but even that is lacking. It has potential, but it's just too raw right now.

They allow you to download for free, so until they start making MAJOR updates, I would only recommend doing that for the time being.
