Schedules Starting Before Game Date

I decided to add the Mexican League to my universe, but the start date for that league is March 22....my game date is beyond that (3/27)

My question is, what happens with those games scheduled before hand? Does the Mexican League just start playing their games where it needs to catch up, or will it start from the beginning but just at a later date?

Is there a way to go back to reset the universe to begin on Mexico's opening day as opposed to MLB? (I am fairly sure there isn't)

Would I need to save the MLB as a template, then start a new game with Mexico as prime league, and then add MLB as a template?

I don't think it would work. I had a similar situation in a fictional save. What happened in my situation is that it caused the season to not have a finish. It needed to finish the games. So it went through the whole off season and picked up the lost days next March and then finished the season. Essentially ruined my save.

This is a shame...I’d really like to add the Mexican league, but my game date has advanced toward its opening day. I wonder what would happen if I changed the schedule start date for this season, and then re-adjusted it back for the following season?

Anyone in the know here?

whne you add it, use a custom start date, than after that it shouldn't matter right? just change it bakc like you said.. i wrote this on a reply to an older above post than the immediately previous, lol...

It's possible that it could work in theory. If you care about the league I would back it up just in case stuff goes off the rails.

I think I may have found a solution.

1. change opening day date. In this case a week later from March 22 to March 29.

2. Go into edit league structure, and "generate new schedule"

You must do the second step in order for this to work.

SO the only downside is that the Mexican League will be starting one week late, and will be using a fictional schedule.
