Inflation or no Inflation
I always struggle with whether I should activate inflation in an MLB league. To me 1-3 percent seems reasonable in theory, but I’m not sure how it will work out in reality when it comes to a very long term save.
What experiences do others have? |

you'll have to apply the financial coefficient feature[sic], when budgets or math involving them equate to #'s over 2billion etc.
it won't hinder anything... merely change what a contract expectation is for various talent levels. the advantage to no inflation is you become more familiar with a player's worth in that environment -- the longer it stays unchanged the better you undertand it. inflation will add a minute amount of fog, but not much since you are setting the range at which it will change on a yearly basis.. opinion: i prefer it remain static. it's an arbitrary change that adds a hoop to jump through but doesn't require any skill or learning. things cost a bit more. you make a bit more in same proportions. so, no real change occurs of meaning. it would be more realistic, though.
